About the Artist

Hi, I’m Kelsey, an expressionist artist inspired by the wild beauty of the outdoors and the stories that emerge from adventure.

My work is rooted in personal experience. Every painting begins with a journey, usually a camping trip deep into remote landscapes where nature speaks loudly and clearly. These off-the-grid adventures fuel my creative process, giving me space to slow down, connect with the land, and translate what I feel into art.

I work primarily in abstract, landscapes, and florals, using bold color, texture, and movement to capture the emotional essence of a place or moment. I don’t aim to paint what I see, I paint what I remember, what I feel, and what stays with me. My process is intuitive and expressive, letting the painting evolve layer by layer, just like the experiences that inspire them.

Painting, for me, is a way to relive the joy, freedom, and solitude of the outdoors, and to share that sense of wonder with others. Each piece is a glimpse into a memory, a mood, a moment in nature that left its mark on me.
